Shrooly needed a repeat-purchase model and a recovery plan for acquisition
Shrooly was moving beyond one-time hardware sales while its brand position, paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing and customer confidence needed attention. As Head of Marketing, I led the commercial transition, brand repositioning and crisis communication strategy.
- Obstacle
- A hardware-led model had to support repeat purchases while the business addressed paid-media performance, shipping-related customer concerns and a class action lawsuit.
- What I brought
- Commercial marketing leadership that connected brand repositioning, paid acquisition, ecommerce lifecycle marketing and customer communication around the same business decision.
- What I did
- I repositioned the brand, broadened the marketing mix beyond paid acquisition, directed ecommerce lifecycle marketing and led the crisis communication strategy.
Blended ROAS moved from approximately 1.14x to 3.4x, and the crisis communication strategy received a Gold Globee Award for crisis communication
